Dr. Sidhu is a General Surgeon with a sub-specialty in trauma, providing exceptional care and surgical treatment for conditions such as hernias, gallstones, breast cancer, benign masses of the breast, colon cancer, pilonidal disease, rib fractures and diverticulitis.
Dr. Sidhu obtained her Bachelor of Science at Saint Mary’s University, Halifax after which she was accepted to medical school at the University of Saskatchewan. She completed her general surgery residency in Saskatoon, SK followed by a fellowship in trauma surgery at the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Sidhu joined the general surgery and trauma teams at Royal Columbian Hospital in 2013. She currently holds privileges at both Royal Columbian and Eagle Ridge Hospitals as well as New West Surgical Centre, a private surgical facility.
She provides rapid access to surgical interventions such as hernia repairs, pilonidal excisions, gallbladder removals, breast biopsies and breast cancer surgeries as well as a variety of other procedures.
